More Handspun

Lousy internet so I'm email blogging tonight. That means I can't choose where the photos go so I'll have to edit the arrangement later. *sigh* Although I suppose it's better than no post at all!
How do you not love a fiber batt like this? It's a gorgeous blend of superwash and bamboo from the end-of-run bags I bought from DyeingForColor. I went through it like butter! And since there was only one batt I spun it fairly fine and then hunted my stash for something to ply it with. As luck would have it I found a small amount of purple superwash pencil roving!
Yes, quite purple! I was sure there wouldn't be enough so I spun it even finer than the blend. Wouldn't you know it, I ran out of the blend first? It turned into a lovely not-so-screaming-purple yarn. A really beautiful heathered look! 320yds, 3.3 ounces - a pleasant Sport weight! Happily awaiting a new home in my Etsy Shop!
