Back Online With Friday Freebies!

Aside from my week starting swamped with work, then being away Tuesday night and having no internet until today due to our ISP crash... well, let's just say it's been an eventful week! LOL! So I figured I'd finish on a high note with some nice Friday Freebies!

This Knit Backpack from Lion Brand is a fun little quick knit! I like it because there are so many things it can become depending on what weight and fiber of yarn you use! You don't even need to make the backpack straps, how about attaching them to the top and making it a market bag? The mesh makes it stretchy but the garter stitch sides make it tough!

Did I say tough? How about this Entrelac Beret and Entrelac Scarf from Lion Brand? Actually entrelac isn't that tough and it produces such a beautiful illusion of woven knitting! Lion Brand does not list them as a set but knit in the same yarn, or complimentary shades they'd make a smashing winter ensemble!

And last but not least I thought I'd include an in-between pattern as far as difficulty goes. Something you could finish in a weekend for a quick gift or a feel-good-finish-quick project -

Musk Fairisle Armwarmers from Tahki-Stacey Charles! I can't help but think they're a great way to use up a skein of leftover handspun once the sweater is finished! I really love the tweedy grey they chose! If you're like me it won't be difficult to find some naturally colored fiber yarny odds and ends to make these with! Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by! Cheers all!
