Hand Prepared White Shetland

In addition to being a big fan of minimally processed fiber I am also very partial to fiber that has been prepared by hand rather than commercial machinery. I had the opportunity to purchase some 100% natural white Shetland that had been scoured and carded by hand. You can't get much more minimal than that!
This fiber was like angels had dragged fluffy clouds right out of the blue sky! Pillowy, without the smallest spec of veg and such a uniform shade of creamy white! I was sorry there wasn't more of it! It spun like a dream in no time flat!
I put a very light twist in it so as not to deflate it's natural buoyancy, then 2-plied it.

Those pillows of fluff look wonderful! The yarn also turned out looking great!

Now that's MY kind of fibre. Your yarn is beautifully spun.
