Friday Freebie Shrugs

I couldn't resist starting with this sweet crochet shrug, Betty from Berroco. I love the texturing and it's simple structure! And even though it's crochet it can be soft and drapey with the right yarn....

Amy, also from Berroco is similar with plain narrow sleeves and lacy front detailing except that it is knit. It's casual and feminine and cuddly!

Although Tolland, the third pattern from Berroco is not exactly a shrug I thought I would include it because it too features simple lines and a lace embellished front. The lace is really just an accent but takes it from utilitarian to dressy without a whole lot of fuss and bother.
So I hope you see something here to inspire you. I know I've missed quite a few Friday Freebie posts (hope you missed them too!). Cheers all!

Not liking the first two because of the extra material under the arms; looks like something I'd never wear. The third is nice and I also liked it when I saw it on their site. A bit longer perhaps.
