Evergreen Twinkle

I have a very eclectic mix of tastes when it comes to spinning fiber! On one hand I have a passionate love affair with raw natural fiber. On the other I love dalliances with dyed commercial top and recently have developed an appetite for fiber generously paired with Angelina or Firestar. To me, it's a bit like living on organic food and then occasionally binging on Oscar Meyer, Sarah Lee and Breyers! Not that there's anything wrong with it, I suppose and the variety certainly keeps me from getting in a spinning rut!
This lovely batch of tonal green superwash and Angelina came from Dyeing For Colour and as always, was pure pleasure to spin! No pre-drafting required and no veg to speak of! It never takes long to go through 4 ounces as it's so well prepared!
I seriously thought of keeping this lot but the color gap is too big between it and the other green yarns I've made from her fiber. What's more, the others didn't have the Angelina so I thought, m'eh, I'll list it in my Etsy shop - there's always more fiber fish in that barrel!

I call it Evergreen Twinkle. At 4.3 oz, 2-ply and 425 yds it's a comfortable Sport Weight. Very soft and a lovely mix of greens - perfect for a cowl, small shawl or maybe a mitts & hat set?
