Superwash Blend Handspun

Spinning has become such a part of my evening routine I think I would have a hard time unwinding at night without it now. I went through a period of time during the late winter months when all I spun was colorful dyed wool and wool blends. I just needed the pleasant therapy of spending time looking at something other than "white" (ie: snow)!
Occasionally I forget to photograph the fiber before I spin it and that happens to be the case with both these lots of fiber. I purchased them on Etsy from a supplier in Ontario called Dyeing for Color. I can't say enough good things about her fiber, her prices and her promptness in shipping! (SUCH a pleasure to buy from a Canadian Etsy seller!)
Although her fiber comes in braids it is nothing at all like any braided fiber I've ever had before! There is NO pre-drafting required as the fiber is fluffy not compacted and I can spin right from the top without splitting it! I don't know how she does it but every bundle is a pleasure to spin from!
Her eye for blending color is unique and the variances are often subtle but very pleasing! And the fibers I prefer to buy from her are superwash blends with tussah silk, bamboo, firestar and other twinkly, shiny goodies. I have only one criticism, and it has nothing to do with her products - it's the photos in her shop. Now I appreciate that everyone can't be good at everything so it's a minor fault, in my eyes, that often the photos in her shop don't necessarily portray the colors of the fibers accurately. That happened to be the case with the ones I'm showing you today.
Because I forgot to take pictures of this fiber before I spun it, I though I'd just grab the photos from her shop to show you... except her photos look pretty orange and copper and the fiber is much redder, rustier, greener and darker.

So I suppose you're wondering if that upset me when I opened my first box and discovered the discrepancy... and honestly, actually, not at all! What I found is that I really loved the colors I got. I appreciate that it may very well be a rare thing but to me the colors are so appealing and the fiber so nice that whatever comes in the box I know I'm going to love it and invariably I do. And this is the first time I've ever said that about any seller, any time, any where!
So here is the handspun. Both skeins came from fiber on a listing with the above photo. (2 separate purchases) Each is different and rich in colors.

Heathered Rust, 350 yds of Sport weight 2-ply from approx. 3.9 oz of lovely blended top: superwash wool, tussah silk, bamboo and firestar.

And this skein I call Ruby Evergreen, which is 365 yds of Sport weight 2-ply from approx. 4.4 oz of lovely blended top: superwash wool, tussah silk, bamboo and firestar. I wish you had feel-o-vision so you could feel how soft and silky these skeins are!

Now I don't want you thinking ALL her photos are as different as this! In fact most of the other lots of fiber I have purchased from her are very, very close to the photos. I think she just has the same sort of problem lots of other sellers on Etsy have with reds and red/brown combos.... speaking of which, I will be listing these in my own Etsy shop as soon as I have time to get some better photos of them....  Cheers all!

That is beautiful yarn. I was so tempted, that I tried to go to Dyed in Color to see what else she had. But the link lead me to an error message. I tried it on another browser and got the same result. When I searched for Dyed in Color on Etsy, I got too many suggestions to check them all. So, could you repost that link? Or are you trying to keep all the goodies for yourself. Not that I would blame you.
