More Friday Freebie Cowls

There's just no getting away from it, cowls are such a fashion rage (not that I'm complaining) I have some more really great patterns to share with you. I don't really think I need to launch again into a spiel about how versatile they are, do I? I think I'll just cut to the patterns...

I really love the lacey simplicity of this Lace Grey Cowl from Lion Brand. In fact, this is one of those rare occasions when I have nothing to say about altering it in any way! I love the color, the gauge and the loose bulky fit. It's absolutely gorgeous!

If you'd prefer a roomier design, here is the Moebius Wrap from Caron Naturally. There is lots of scope for color choices or textured stitches here. The sky's the limit for yarn choices too! Everything from brushed Mohair to boucle to bulky thick 'n thin! Wear it indoors or out depending on your choices!

The Lowell Cowl from Classic Elite Yarns is an interesting one! It looks like a bulky doubled cowl but it is actually a very large loop. They show it here worn as a cowl but on the pattern they have shots of all the different ways you can wear it - quite unique and worth a look just to see all the creative ideas they came up with! Some, I think, would require a bit heavier gauge to stand up to the wear, but it's food for thought nonetheless! I recommend using yarn that will best suit the manner in which you think you'll wear it the most. Cheers all! Enjoy!
