Tuesday Already!

As often happens, Monday's post got away on me - too much to do and never enough time to do it! Nevertheless I spent a productive weekend (so how come so much of my work's not finished?!?!) LOL! Oh well! C'est la vie!
I managed to corral the work socks when my son was home so here's a shot of all 5 pairs. It's easy to see which ones I was short of beige on! Wouldn't you know it, they were the ones he was wearing this week when changing from leather work boots to hip waders at work. All the guys had a chuckle over them! At least it was at my knitting not him!

Friday I had a wonderful parcel from Wild Geese. A batch of gorgeous grey sock yarn and deliciously soft Prairie Blizzard yarn, a 50/50 blend of Alpaca and wool, also in a nice grey. There's enough Prairie Blizzard to knit a sweater and the sock yarn... well, we won't talk about that... There were also some single skeins...

From left to right, two skeins of the grey sock, one hand dyed skein of Peer Pressure Wool/Alpaca/nylon sock yarn, a skein of white Finn sheep wool, and a chunky brown Llama tweed. I also bought a couple pounds of grey Finn sheep roving (not in this pic) and she tossed in a small wad of (I think) llama blend pencil roving you can just see at the top of the pic. (More on that bit tomorrow!)
I'm plying yarns right now so hopefully I'll have some pics of that for you this week too! Cheers all!
