Knitty Deep Fall 2010

This delicious shawl is called Pretty Maids and I love how there's such a nice balance between solids and lace in it. So many shawls, while lovely to behold, are really mostly holes and not likely to keep anyone warm at all! This one looks like it might actually survive being used regularly to do more than accessorize the arm of the Deacon's Bench, if you get my drift!
This cowl named Eleanor is a great way to dip your toes into lace knitting without making a commitment to a long-term relationship that might go sour!
