New Twist Collective

Just a quick post to let you know that the Fall 2010 issue of Twist Collective is up. I did my usual, read the columns, drooled over the yarn in the ads and ogled the patterns. I especially loved Clara Parke's  article on swatching. I totally loved all the yarns she sampled! I think gray and natural white/ecru yarns are my favorites. There's just something about them that makes me melt....
As for the patterns, I made my wish list but didn't purchase anything this time around. I have fallen hopelessly in love the the Red Oak jacket. I think the only reason I didn't buy it (yet) is because I want to give myself some incentive to get at least one of my 3 sweaters finished, especially since I'm more or less half way on all of them. It's funny, I have such a hard time settling down to knit but once I've started I have a hard time putting it down. I didn't help myself lately by getting most of the weeding done in my flower beds. The next day my hands were so sore I couldn't knit and could hardly spin. Nothing like moderation with me, is there? D'uh! Anyways, hop on over to Twist and enjoy!! Cheers all!
