Post #499 And A Give Away!!
Fiber publications in general interest me, and there's always something (or things) in each issue that I benefit from reading. I mean, Spin Off only comes out 4 times a year and so far it's the only really good spinning magazine I've come across. SS&D is from a parallel craft with lots of cross over information. From what I've read so far, I'm very pleased I bought them. The first one I opened had a superb article on Jacob sheep and defined several different breeds of multi-horn sheep. When hubby looked over my shoulder at what I was reading, he looked me in the eye and said quite firmly. "NO! Don't even think it!" Hahahahahaha! *sigh!*

I bought a subscription to Piecework for the same reason and read a few really interesting articles, but have no intention to do tatting or weaving. So does this mean that when guys buy Play Boy for the articles, we can believe them now?

and you arent really going to rule out weaving entirely are you? I mean, eventually you will spin more than you can knit... and well... I'm just saying!

Yes! A very good time to stop by! LOL! As for weaving... welll, maybe some time but not any time soon unless someone actually gives me a 4-harness loom or some such beast... too much to do and simply not enough time to do it these days!
