Being An Enabler - Again!

As mentioned previously, I have indulged myself with a "little" spinning fiber. I have been a long time fan of Pollywogs Yarn and Fiber, having found her on eBay several years ago. She has an Etsy Shop and separate website also. Imagine my horrified delight (yes, there IS such a thing!) to discover ALL her Louet spinning fiber is on sale for 40% off and she also has a Clearance page with lots of half price items! Let's just say I fell off the not-buying wagon and completely lost sight of it! LOL! Behold: one of two similar parcels!

Absolutely astonishing just how much fiber can be compressed into just one of those sturdy plastic mailers! I got Shetland in all-natural shades of white, brown and black, some fine South African, Norwegian and a bit of Finn all in natural white. The only colored fiber I bought was the superwash in a dark garnet multi-tonal (2 lbs) and some Louet Northern Lights in a sort of Christmasy space dye.

Because the color changes are so short I think I'll spin this as if it's all one color, fairly fine and then chain ply it and see what happens. I hope it sort of homogenizes into a pleasant sort of brown tonal. We shall see!
The only non-fiber things I bought were a "De-Fuzz It" sweater comb and these delightful tape measures:

Aren't they sweet? They're made by Lantern Moon and are nicely fabric covered - a bee and a sheep. How could I resist?
So - what are you waiting for??? Click on one of the links and get on over there before all the good stuff is gone (now that I'm done shopping, of course!) Cheers all!
