Cherry Confetti Finished!

Well I'm done plying for a while now. I finished the Cherry/Fuschia novelty fiber. Can't say it was my favorite. Every time I worked with it I had to sweep the floor! It rained confetti felted nubbles! As usual it was a struggle to get my camera to produce a reasonable facsimile of the colors! *sigh! The turquoise isn't quite so glow-in-the-dark and the cherry isn't quite so fuschia! Over all I was actually pleased with how this turned out. I had 2 lots, of fiber, one a slightly lighter shade than the one with the nubbles so the end result is an almost heathered look. (Not that you can tell from these photos! grrr!) The nubbles I spun fairly thick and the un-nubbled finer so when I plied them I got a worsted weight. I even had singles from the fine lot left over and made a smaller skein that will work well for ribbing or something that isn't so nubbles-friendly.

Main skein, approx 8 ounces, 240 yds, 2-ply, a heavy worsted weight.

Small skein, 2-ply, 88 yds, a heavy sport weight.
Well, I'm thinking I have the 2 worst lots of fiber behind me now... gosh! What a thing to say about fiber! LOL!! Maybe I should explain that I had a bit of a rummage through the other bags of fiber I bought from this seller and all the rest will be large lots of all one color, mostly semi-solid dyed and it doesn't feel like I have any more "Oh No!" batches.... (she says now...). So that's all for today, until I have more pics, anyways. Cheers all!
