Looking to Swap a Book

Goodies in the mail..... what can I say? Lots, actually! I pre-ordered these from Amazon.ca and then forgot all about it so it was a pleasant surprise to open the box.... except that I read through Socks From the Toe Up and decided I'm not too interested in keeping it. Rather than send it back I was wondering if anyone wants to swap something for it? Don't get me wrong - it's a good book, but I already have a method of toe-up I like and use and there wasn't really anthing in here I wanted to try. The patterns are really nice but all in fine gauge (I think they call it "sock yarn"?) so I can't see myself being tempted to make any of them. If you'd like to swap email me: GLORIAPATRE at GMAIL dot COM Please don't offer me sock yarn! LOL!! (No, you can't click to look inside - I heisted the image from Amazon!)

Spin Control is another story! I certainly intend to keep it!! It isn't nearly so indepth as The Intentional Spinner but it is beautifully photographed and there is excellent information on novelty yarns. I'm glad I bought it, even if it isn't a spinning bible!
And speaking of buying books, Interweave has their Hurt Book Sale on right now! That's 30% to 70% OFF!!! some of their best titles! I was actually lucky enough to stumble onto it a day before their email newsletter went out so I got almost first pick! I don't know what's left by now but it's SO worth checking out! Book topics include Crochet, Knitting, Spinning, Weaving, Drawing, Painting, Quilting, Beading, Needlework and Mixed Media - really something for everyone!
