Honey Comb Crocheted Wrap

As with so many projects, this one started out as one thing and took on a life of it's own, becoming quite another! DD#1 has been enjoying making baby blankets. She saw this design in one of her books and actually used some of her own stash yarns! She had several 1 lb bags of acrylic mill ends and decided this would be a great way to use them up. The pattern called for polar weight yarn. Since her mill ends were fingering weight she used them triple stranded. A huge 8mm hook made the project go very quickly indeed! So fast, in fact, that she was well past baby blanket length before she knew it! In the end she decided to continue until she ran out of yarn! Voila! One thick, plushy wrap, suitable for wearing to watch a movie, browse the internet or read a book!

Great for couch sitting and doing more crochet.
What would it have become if she didn't run out of yarn?
