One Last Parcel Arrived
I readily admit I blew the budget big-time for Christmas. In fact it will be many months before I purchase anything now... There were just too many sales on really great stuff! I get the e-Newsletter from Vogue so I've seen their new book releases all year, drooling but unable to convince myself to but any of them with the CDN $ as low as it is. Then came their 12 Days of Christmas sale - 60% Off plus $7 shipping!! That was the end of resistance!
I treated myself to their Stitchionary Volumes 1, 2 & 3 and Nicky Epstein's Knitting Beyond the Edge. All are hardcover and over an inch thick so the cheap postage is mind-boggling! The Stitchionary books are done in true Vogue style with all color pictures, no crowding and medium-size type instructions. SO worth getting!
Nicky's book is one I've really really wanted for a long time. I have Knitting On the Edge and Knitting Over the Edge - I just had to have this one and it didn't disappoint! I'm SO tempted to say I'll never need to buy another knitting book as these really complete my knitting library but I know you'd never believe me!! ROFL!!!
