And Now For Something Completely Different!

All those tired of reading spinning posts rejoice!!
My DD#1 has finished crocheting a half-Pi Shawl! In 100% cotton chenille, no less!! It is squooshy-plushy soft and a delight to wrap up in!! I'm so impressed that she managed so well with such inelastic yarn! The colors are electric and I think she combined them well!! She wanted the colors to do all the talking so she chose a simple double crochet stitch. She worked from a basic design I found on Lion Brand's website, following the increases and not much else. YES! It's supposed to be ripply because it's a generous wrap-you-up-double size.

FANTASTIC job, yes I can see that the ripples allow for comfort room when wraped about the body, I'll bet it becomes a favorite, ones that are soft and roomy are always good to have around.
