Parade of Blue Crocheted Hats

I am delighted to share with you my DDs latest project! My younger sister has 4 little girls. Needless to say my girls love making things for them. With summer on the horizon, what could be more fun than sunhats?? They dove into the stash and came up with a polyester blend turquoise blue (totally washable) and some same-weight cotton in red and white and some gold glitter yarn. Mix in some glass pony beads and voila! Totally cool summer wear!!

Adorable hats! The girls will love them! I wonder who will choose each one or are they made with a particular girl in mind?

Funny you should ask... they are all pretty much the same size except the one on my hand. It was made deliberately smaller for the youngest ... which of course gives me great cause for concern that it will be TOO small! LOL! Fortunately there is more yarn left if they have to make another one. My DDs don't realize it but I think each hat is well suited to each of the girls - each one will automatically know it's owner!! Cool eh?

The hats are fabulous! I was going to ask, wether the girls are all the same age, because the hats look the same size. But now I've read your comment above.
