Here's Two Real Beauties!
There are days, internet wise, that it would be just better if I stayed home, you know? I seem to get into more trouble browsing in my own office than if I spent the day at the mall - really! That having been said, at least this kind of "trouble" is of a minor kind. 
Usually I'm all about free patterns. The internet is full of them as you all know! So it takes something pretty spectacular to inspire me to buy patterns - online or anywhere else! Feast your eyes on these .....
Red Celtic Hearts Shawl Green Cascading Leaves Shawl
Aside from the obvious (the gorgeous patterns) these shawls were knit with heavier-than-laceweight yarn. I know, I know, the Swallowtail Shawl I fell in love with is still languishing on the needles but these two are keepers - I know I will eventually make them! REALLY!

The design is so simple yet so striking - but I have to admit the color really grabbed me too! Something about that rich bright red ....
