Diagonal Crocheted Afghan

We took the pics outside so the natural light would help the camera get the true colors - I think they came out not too bad.

She did an outside edge round to fill in the triangular dips left from the decrease rows then a solid edge of double crochet in the main color and then a contrast color round of shells. Such bright spring colors!

DD#2 came outside with us but decided to show off something not fiber-related! LOL!! Not to worry - I'll be showcasing her finished crocheted socks in my next post! Cheers for now!

The afghan is fabulous! It must be fun crafting with your kids! I just spoke with my daughter on the phone, and if she's got time between job and University, she's going to make leg warmers for her boyfriend. :o) She would love to do more, but ...
I love the snow heart! It this was your day today, wow, here it was so foggy, I could not see across the road, and had to have light on all day!

Well, for heaven sake, I miss checking the blog a couple of days, and look at all you've done! That is a lovely afghan, and it's great to see a kid having the confidence to just "go for it".
I love those stitch markers too. Do you sell them????
