Old Fashioned Cardigan Finished!!
For a while I thought I'd never get through all that purling, but I had made up my mind to just keep going until I ran out of yarn. I wanted this cardi to be your basic blanket-with-sleeves for days (like today) when the daytime high is -16 C. I added pressed glass buttons with an aurora borealis finish for a touch of bling and because they look sort of purpley. All stockingette to let my handspun, hand dyed (not by me) yarn speak for itself.
And DD#2 was kind enough to model it for me ... and then told me how much she liked it and could she maybe borrow it?

I really like that colour combo. And it does really suit your daughter, just the right colour for her. You may have trouble getting it back!
