Jacob Shawl Finished!

This was such an easy pattern I was sorry to finish - except that I could hardly wait to wear it! I washed it in my front-load washer on the Hand Wash cycle with Eucalan Wool Wash. The yarn bloomed beautifully! It is such a generous size I had to use a double bed to block it on and it hung over both ends! I had to wait over night to start using it! It looks like it should be rough and uncomfortable but it is soft and pleasant to wear. As usual my pictures fall short and the texture really doesn't show. I'm going to wait for a sunny day and try to get some good shots of it outside and send them to Barb at Wild Geese!

I absolutely love that shawl, and am looking forward to posting the picture. See, that's why knitters are so great, I never thought of using that yarn for a shawl, you did, and its gorgeous. The "simple" lace is just right for the yarn too.
