First Mermaid Sock completed!
The first Mermaid sock slithered off the needles this weekend! I figured any sock this goofy looking had to have a ruffled edge to finish it! LOL! I had such great hopes for this sock but can't help but feel the heel is rather ugly. It had to be garter stitch to match the puffy nature of the rest of the sock but the color stripes were a bit disappointing. To my surprise there was a color pattern repeat but with the mermaid stitch who's going to notice?? I will cast on the 2nd sock as soon as I finish the one below. The white yarn tags are to mark my increases and decreases... more lazy habits!
