Beaudelaire Sock & Stitch Markers

Here are the stitch markers I made last weekend. All with 12mm split rings and odds 'n ends of beads. Some are Cat's Eye, some are glittery goldstone with metal or glass spacer beads and there are even a couple of rose decal beads. They are all small enough to not interfere with the stitches but big enough to manouver easily. I've seen stitch markers with fancy Art glass beads but they look so big and klunky to me. These are really intended for my sock knitting and needles to a maximum size of about 5mm. I think I'll need them for lace knitting too. I am really being hard on myself, insisting that I finish the cabled wrap before I start on that Swallowtail Shawl of my dreams! Waah! I made some with 15mm splitrings for 6mm to 9mm needles and I need to make more of them but it can wait! As you can see my Beaudelaire is inching along. I really do enjoy working on it but it needs 100% attention for the charted part and once I'm done the heel there won't be any plain stockingette parts so it will go even slower! Oh well! It IS a hobby after all - not a job! LOL!!
